Nails Inc Great Pulteney Street

Hey guys
This is the third pokish from the Nails Inc Naturally Beautiful collection on QVC.
It's a light coffee colour that the powers that be describe as 'taupe'.
Again, this has got the easy to use consistency that you expect from Nails Inc.
This is 2 coats with base and top coats.
You'll see from my earlier two posts that the other two polishes from this set chipped within a day of wearing them and I thought it was because my Seche Vite top coat applied quite thickly because it needs to be thinned out. I made a point of only applying a thin coat of Seche Vite to this mani and *touch wood* it has lasted all day without chipping. Phew! I really didn't want to think that Nails Inc's standards were slipping.
Luckily Seche Restore is on its way to me and I can thin my top coat soon.

Ps. I had to use a filter to capture the true colour! X

Nails Inc Sheraton Street

Hey guys
This is the second polish from the Nails Inc Naturally Beautiful collection on QVC.
It's a gorgeous light duck egg blue and was very easy to apply.
This is 2 coats with base and top coats. Again this polish didn't last as long as I've come to expect from Nails Inc but again my Seche Vite top coat applied quite thickly so I'm still blaming that!
Again this was a pain in the butt to get an accurate picture of but this is pretty close.
What do you think of this colour?

Nails Inc Northumberland Avenue

Hey guys
I've been lusting after the Nails Inc Naturally Beautiful collection on QVC for a while now so thought I'd treat myself with some pennies I was lucky enough to get for Christmas.
As you can probably guess from the name they are 'natural' colours but they aren't all what you'd probably expect.
There are four beauties in this set. I'll be posting about two others in separate posts.
The first one I tried was Northumberland Avenue which is a lovely mid shade of khaki. This was easy to apply and the picture shows two coats of colour with base and top coats.
I found that this mani didn't last a full day but I'm putting that down to the fact that my Seche Vite top coat applied quite thickly because it needs thinning. Luckily I've got Seche Restore winging its way to me.
I love this colour and wilk definitely wear it often.
Do you have this set or is it on your wishlist?
Have you noticed that it chips easier than other Nails Inc polishes or do you agree that it's down to the top coat?

Ps. Another thing I noticed is that this is a complete pain in the butt to get an accurate picture of! X

Nails Inc Porchester Square

Hey guys
Unfortunately I couldn't bear the idea of wearing Stretford for more than one day so I replaced it with Porchester Square. This is a neutral mushroom colour which I wasn't sure about when I first wore it, however it's now one of my 'go to' polishes.
This understated beauty is a staple in most people's Nails Inc collections and is actually referred to as a 'Hero' shade by the bods at NI.
This polish is lovely either on it's own or topped with Electric Lane or Burlington Arcade for a bit of extra glitz.
I am wearing 2 coats of polish with Opi Nail Envy base coat and Nails Inc Kensington Caviar top coat.
Do any of you guys have this beauty? Do you agree that it's a 'must have' in any Nails Inc fan's collection?

Nails Inc Stretford

Hiya guys
I'm not going to say it's my new year resolution to post more because it'll be doomed to fail but let's see if i can!
Stretford is one of my untrieds that I thought I'd give a chance last night while I was trying to get my head back into work mode after 11 days off. It would have been a nice break if I hadn't had this flaming cold for the whole of it, but hey!
This is one of the mirror metallic shades Nails Inc brought out a couple of months ago. This is 3 thin coats with Opi Nail Envy base and Nails Inc Kensington Caviar top coat. It's a pretty champagne colour which applied well but I personally don't love it. Luckily I got it in a mini set called the Fashionistas.
Do you like this polish?

Hello 2013

Hey guys
I know I haven't blogged half as much as I intended... That's for a number of reasons, including my having lost my mojo!
I've been dreading the end of 2012/beginning of 2013 for a while now. Although 2012 wasn't all bad it was crappy in that my Uncle got ill, we were told he'd recover then found out he won't. These were turbulent and emotional times for us all!
Anyhoo, 2013 has arrived so I'm going to try to be positive which is against my nature! I'm just one of those realists who knows what's going to happen and can't pretend otherwise!
I hope some good things happen in 2013 and that some of my wishes come true. Especially some of those that I've had for a very long time!
I hope 2013 is kind to you all and that your wishes and dreams come true
Love Lou x
Ps here's a pic of my cat Casper who always cheers me up x
