Tips For Using Magnetic Polish

For me the Magnetic effect works better if I apply a thick layer of polish.

I also find that holding the magnet still for 5 seconds before rolling the magnet across my nail from one side to the other makes the effect more obvious (",)

Marbling Nail Art Tips

I just thought I'd share some pointers I picked up when I tried Marbling designs on my nails for the first time

The first one which I found unclear from the YouTube videos I watched is that for me the process works better if you use water as it comes straight from the cold tap.

The second is that if you use lip balm rather than masking tape it's much easier and quicker to prepare and clean up.  I rub lip balm around my nail, including behind the tip and all the way down to the first knuckle on the front and back of my finger.  When the marble is applied to my nail I then simply wipe the excess away with a cotton wool ball - simples (",)
